How does a Mercedes-Benz vehicle become "Certified"?

A Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-owned vehicle may be the best option for getting you into the luxury car you deserve!

A Certified Pre-Owned Mercedes-Benz (CPO) is so much more than a pre-owned car. When you purchase a Certified Pre-owned, you are getting the best value, safety, industry-leading coverage, and much more.

How does a pre-owned Mercedes-Benz become "certified?"

1. It needs to meet strict eligibility requirements.

For a CPO to even be considered for certification, our technicians must ensure that the vehicle meets specific requirements, such as to have less than 75,000 miles, been serviced according to schedule, be less than 6 years old, and it must include a CARFAX® Vehicle History Report.

2. The vehicle needs to be tested on the road.

The vehicle needs to be driven by our certified technicians to evaluate its performance.
3. It needs to pass a 165+ point inspection.

Our certified technicians perform a complete vehicle inspection. Starting from the structure and appearance of the vehicle, moving to the inside with a complete inspection of the vehicle finishes, seat belts, and much more. Following this inspection, our technicians move to the inner components like the electrical system, engine, fluids, filters, and transmission. To find a complete inspection checklist, click here
